I am one of the many people in the world who thought “I’ll be in debt forever”. Until recently I took quite a complacent view of it in my life and did very little about it.
Then my husband and I bought a cute, yet old, house in the country.
Then we found I was pregnant.
Then we found out we needed a new septic field – and the bank would not loan us the money to replace it.
And this was our first 12 months of home ownership.
I am so over being in debt.
I am writing this blog to help me vent my stress (in the hopes my hair will stop falling out), to stay in touch with the debt blogging community and brainstorm with fellow in-debt-types how to reduce our debt. But a big part of this blog is to keep me accountable and on the road to the black!
